From inside
Perhaps the oldest sensation that I remember – impossible then, in that first trace, to put it in these words – is that of feeling that each person has their own perspective, a way of perceiving the world and of returning to the world what has been given to them and crossed and transformed by exploring its unique and particular interior.
That feeling over the years became a certainty, that each of us sees the world in a unique way that provides a small glimpse of truth, that adds meaning and consciousness to a wisdom that transcends the merely personal. That certainty has guided my life, personal care, and professional development, from taking responsibility for my gaze to always contributing something of value to the world and the Other. Embrace the responsibility that the passage of life through my eyes would restore something worth sharing to reality. Also, I want to give the gaze of the Other a critical and essential place in my growth as a living organism and as a human being. The life, the circumstances, the encounters, the intersections, the teachers, the friends, the loved ones, the lovers, and the therapists that I found allowed me to build and find ways in which to take advantage of that difference in my eyes to turn it into something to contribute to the world.
What you find about me on this website are nothing more than the different ways my gaze takes the word and the action, in which my voice pulses the gaze of the Other, in which my hands comprehend the creation of meaning and service to others. It has taken me a long time to lose the fear of giving all these things. Still, since I understood that remaining silent is riskier than expressing and giving, I can only leave my gaze exposed in case, on the other side, there is someone who can use it to glimpse a more fertile place for oneself, as has happened to me so many times in the encounter with the gaze, with the voice, with the word or with the touch of others.
I write to understand first, share later, and re-create new realities that open little cracks of perspective of this unfathomable, inexhaustible mystery of life.
I work in the consultation to share that space essential to me: Be, Be, Do, Have, and Create. I work with patients from the perspective of being able to give them back more autonomy from the undoubted certainty that they are the ones doing the work, I am alone, I listen, and I give them back what they already know, even if they don’t remember it, what they have even if they don’t remember where they kept it, what their body knows. I exist because they take themselves by the hand, and I am only a tool for their work and search. Above all, I work in the consultation, trying not to detach myself from the humility of those who know that they are the ones who constantly teach me new perspectives, new worlds, and new meanings, which invite me to continue searching every day.

Since 1999, the year in which I finished my degree in Philosophy and began studying complementary therapies, Philosophy and Medicine have been the two axes that have shaped my professional and academic life. My university education continued first with an interdisciplinary Master’s Degree (DEA) between the faculties of Philosophy, Medicine and Psychology, Psychoanalytic Foundations and Developments, and culminated with obtaining the title of Doctor in Biomedical Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine with the thesis The Body as a complex system. An epistemological approach to complementary medicines. Diploma in Medicine and complexity from UNAM (Mexico).
If you want to know more about my thesis, here is a link to its online publication.
Now, I continue with research on the body, combining the vision of philosophy, the philosophy of science, and Medicine. My main interests are epistemological research, philosophy of science, and medical humanities.
My professional life has two pillars. The research work that writing involves is the last step to sharing and communicating with more people to enrich each other. My work as a therapist is based on consultation, practical work with patients in the field of complementary therapies, and more theoretical research on topics that explore the body from the relationship between philosophy and Medicine, which results in the empirical exercise of the clinic.
